Job Description


The Recruiting Specialist is a result-oriented and self-motivated individual responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and screening professional applicants for a variety of skills sets related to both technical and non-technical jobs. He (she) will work closely with the Account Management and Relationship Management teams to identify and present qualified candidates for a multitude of clients and industries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a clear ability to communicate, ask questions with a purpose to understand, and negotiate diligently with a wide variety of business professionals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities


  • Completion of recruiter training, to result in a clear understanding of the CGT Staffing recruiting lifecycle, roles and responsibilities, recruiting systems, and company-specific processes and procedures.
  • Utilization of the CGT Staffing Applicant Tracking System (ATS), internet resources, networking and other recruiting resources to establish a pool of highly skilled technical candidates
  • Organization and cataloging of all candidate information, notes, and accompanying documents into the ATS
  • This shall include, but not be limited to, resumés, visas, rights to represent, resumes, service agreements, and referral fee agreements.
  • Competent execution of all steps of the recruiting lifecycle, including, but not limited to:
  • Ownership and maintenance of candidate relationships
  • Development of tear sheets
  • Candidate outreach and qualification
  • Refinement of resumés
  • Cogent preparation of candidates for handoff to Relationship Managers
  • Regular cadence of candidate submissions to clients
  • Management of candidate-specific feedback
  • Receipt, vetting, and entry into the ATS of visa paperwork for all third party applicants prior to handoff to Relationship Managers.
  • Ongoing creation and refinement of One Pagers and routine maintenance of the One Pager library
  • Assistance with hiring and onboarding as needed, including completion of a Customer Service Agreement template upon each placement
  • Regular post-placement communication and maintenance of a fully developed placement database
  • Relentless focus on a superior experience for both candidates and clients throughout the interview and hiring process.
  • Formulation of consistent sales lead referrals, to be provided to Relationship Managers for future staffing opportunities
  • Additional responsibilities as required by business necessity

Requirements


  • Disposition to sales, or a keen interest in understanding the sales and recruiting process
  • Background in staffing and/or sales preferred
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities and negotiating skills
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Experience with Bullhorn or a comparable applicant tracking system
  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
