Job Description


The Account Manager is responsible for comprehensive ownership of client relationships. He (she) will serve as the primary external company representative for assigned accounts derived from existing company relationships. In addition to overseeing existing relationships, the Account Manager will also be responsible for cultivating incremental streams of business by identifying, soliciting, and securing new client partners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and social skills in addition to a talent for multi-tasking and problem solving.

Job Duties & Responsibilities


  • Building and maintaining strong, lasting client relationships and assist in satisfying challenging client requests or issue escalations as they arise.
  • Ownership and maintenance of assigned clients relationships, including leverage of current relationships for the purpose of expanding business at each client
  • Origination of new accounts via relationship management, scheduling, outreach, report management, and efficient resolution of client-based issues as they arise.
  • Prospecting of new accounts through phone, email, social media, associations, and networking events.
  • In all cases, strict adherence to CGT Staffing’s sale process, including but not limited to:
    • Delivery of new job requests from each client
    • Management of client feedback and proactive ownership of the job pipeline with a purpose to eliminate delays as they arise.
    • Scheduling meetings and touch bases with all potential consultants and their associated hiring managers.
    • Completion of all walk-ins (interviews and starts) at a client location. In some cases, this may involve partnering with other members of the team to ensure total coverage.
    • Full, cooperative collaboration with the company’s Relationship Managers, including awareness of their progress and activity on each job request for your clients.
    • Scheduling meetings and touch bases with all potential consultants and their associated hiring managers.
  • Supervision and maintenance of all owned client and job pages in the Bullhorn-based company database
  • Delivery of weekly progress reports, summarizing:
    • Key notes
    • Current meeting updates
    • Future scheduled meetings, contacts, and the goals associated with each
    • Total pipeline review of all current accounts, open positions, and forthcoming job requests
  • At all times, promotion of a positive, efficient, and capable demeanor as a client-facing representative of CGT Connect.
  • Additional responsibilities as required by business necessity.

Requirements


  • Previous work experience as an Account Manager, Key Accounts Manager, Sales Manager or other relevant role
  • Proven history of management of multiple accounts and delivering client-focused solutions to each
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Comfortability with presentation to key client stakeholders, including C-level and executive personnel
  • Experience with Bullhorn or a comparable applicant tracking system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
  • BA/BA in Business Administration, Sales or comparable field preferred
